By clicking a link on WikiQuotes on gu.wikipedia, I was presented with the option of creation of gu.wikiquote. I did it but then I could not have the rights to change the system messages ad the navigation bar etc. So, I am helpless. Could you please depute some gu.wikipedia sysops to do so? Of course, needless is to say that I would like to accept the responsibility but when voting rights requires 400 edits, sysops must be requiring more. I do not know how many edits and new addition by me are counted towards my qualification of nomination for sysop etc.
By the way, on gu.wikipedia too the main page lacks the daily photograph and other stuff like en.wikipedia, for your information.

- Hello Karia. The requirement for 400 edits only applies to formal votes like the Board Elections, not to adminship. Adminship on a new wiki can be granted as long as the procedure at meta:requests for permissions is followed. Basically, a user wanting adminship can just create a page about that here and inform other users they are asking for this permission. The main page on gu.wikipedia isn't protected, so you are welcome to add content like a daily image there if the community on that wiki is happy with that. Angela ૧૧:૦૪, ૨૬ September ૨૦૦૫ (UTC)

મને ઘણો આનંદ થયો કે આપે અંદાજે ૪ વર્ષ પહેલાં અહીં "વિકિઅવતરણ" માટે સૌ પ્રથમ પ્રયાસ કરેલો. ત્યારે કદાચ હજુ વધુ કાર્ય માટેનો સમય પાક્યો નહીં હોય :-) પરંતુ હવે લાગે છે કે ગુજરાતી વિકિપીડિયા શાથે આનું પણ જોડાણ થઇ અને અહીં પણ સારૂં કાર્ય થઇ શકશે. મેં એક પ્રયત્ન કર્યો જેમાં માઉન્ટ એવરેસ્ટ નાં વિકિપીડિયાનાં લેખથી કડી મુકી જે અહીં માઉન્ટ એવરેસ્ટ પર આવે છે. આપ સમય મળ્યે ચકાશી લેશો અને જરૂરી સુચનો તથા પ્રોત્સાહન આપશો તો આનંદ થશે. કદાચ આપણાં વધુ મિત્રો અહીં પણ જરૂરી (જે ગુજરાતી વિકિપીડિયા શાથે સંકળાયેલ હોય તેવું) કાર્ય કરવામાં ઉત્સાહ અનુભવશે. આભાર. --અશોક મોઢવાડીયા ૨૦:૦૪, ૨૦ જૂન ૨૦૦૯ (UTC)
